Frequently Asked Questions

I'm just an enthusiastic cruiser who once booked a cruise and started manually tracking price changes. When I noticed a drop, I got hundreds refunded—no hassle! I thought, hey, the hard part is just keeping an eye on the prices. I asked around, no service existed. So I built one. You're welcome.

Nope! I'm just a regular cruiser on a mission to save a few hundred bucks — same as you. No corporate ties, no secret handshake. Just me, my computer, and a mild obsession with cruise fares.

Yep! Royal Caribbean has a Best Price Guarantee. I’ve done it myself—no questions asked. It’s smoother than a sea day brunch.

Whether you're a casual cruiser or a full-time ship dweller, we’ve got a plan for you.

Deckhand (Free): Perfect if you cruise once a year. Track up to 3 cabins, get notified every 48 hours.
First-Mate: More cabins, more updates. Daily checks and custom notification thresholds.
Captain: Everything, faster. Real-time alerts, extended history, and a front-row seat to the pricing chaos.

Still unsure? Check our tier guide to find the right match for your cruising style.

We check prices every six hours. If your cruise fare changes often, blame Royal Caribbean, not us. We only email you when something really moves — no spam, no "just checking in" emails. Pinky promise.

Ah yes, the mysterious cabin codes — like secret handshakes for cruise fares. 🕵️‍♂️ Here's the deal: Royal Caribbean loves to shuffle things around based on supply, demand, and maybe the phase of the moon. So for any cabin class, you might see options like: • “Royal Caribbean chooses your cabin” • “You choose your cabin” • “You choose your connecting cabin” ...and more!

Sometimes they vanish. Sometimes they return. Sometimes they return with a new name, a new code, or just a new attitude. But don’t worry — as long as you’re tracking your cabin class, we’ve got tabs on all those mysterious variations. If the price changes, you'll know.

Want to double check? Hit that "History" button on your dashboard. Or click the link in your email to visit the Royal Caribbean site directly and see the current pricing in the wild.

Happy cruising, codebreaker. 🚢🧩

The Deckhand plan is designed for occasional cruisers — you can track up to 3 cabins at once.

Need more? First-Mates and Captains enjoy higher limits (or none at all). You can upgrade anytime — no lifeboat required.

Yep! If you're a First-Mate or a Captain, you can set a minimum price drop (like $50) or a percent change (like 5%) that has to happen before we alert you.

Deckhands get alerts for all meaningful changes — no filters, just facts. 📉📬

Cruise prices change fast — like a squirrel on espresso. Our alerts are solid, but if the fare shifted while you blinked... don’t sue us.

Every six hours, on the dot. Just enough to be useful — not annoying.
Depending on your tier, we group and delay notifications to keep your inbox sane:
  • Deckhands: every 48 hours
  • First-Mates: every 24 hours
  • Captains: every 6 hours (no delay)

Good catch! The prices shown here are per person for 2 adults in USD. We keep it simple so we can track general trends (up or down). Before you price-match, check the Royal site with your actual guest configuration to confirm the total. There is one exception, though. There are some cabins that are only available for more than 2 guests. In that case, we show the price per person for 2 adults plus 1 or 2 children.

Because that’s when the magic began. April 18 was day one of price collection. No time machines here—just future savings.
This date is for 2 adults in the cabin. But on May 11, we started collecting prices for 3 and 4 guests, too.

Please do. Especially if they’re still tracking fares by hand like it's 2003. Maybe they’ll buy you a drink with the money they save. 🍹

Nope. Just a human with a mildly obsessive love for cruise deals and way too many tabs open.
