Frequently Asked Questions

I'm just an enthusiastic cruiser who once booked a cruise and started manually tracking price changes. When I noticed a drop, I got hundreds refunded—no hassle! I thought, hey, the hard part is just keeping an eye on the prices. I asked around, no service existed. So I built one. You're welcome.

Nope! I'm just a regular cruiser on a mission to save a few hundred bucks — same as you. No corporate ties, no secret handshake. Just me, my computer, and a mild obsession with cruise fares.

Yep! Royal Caribbean has a Best Price Guarantee. I've done it myself—no questions asked. It's smoother than a sea day brunch.

Whether you are a casual cruiser or a full-time ship dweller, we have got a plan for you.

Deckhand (Free): Perfect if you cruise once a year. Track up to 3 cabins, get notified every 48 hours. Search for deals and see the top 10 cheapest results.
First-Mate: Track up to 15 cabins with daily notifications and custom alert thresholds. In Find Deals, see up to 50 results plus a 14-day price trend for each sailing.
Captain: Up to 50 watchers, 6-hour notifications, and the full Find Deals experience — 200 results, a 30-day price trend, and Best Value badges that highlight the lowest price-per-night sailings.

Still unsure? Check our tier guide to find the right match for your cruising style.

Find Deals lets you search for the cheapest upcoming sailings across Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Carnival — before you book. Think of it as a cruise search engine that shows you prices we've already collected, filtered however you like.

Use the filters to narrow by cruise line, ship, cabin class, party size, sail dates, trip duration, and departure port. Results are sorted by lowest price per person. From there you can click Book to go straight to the cruise line's site, or Watch to add a price tracker in one click — no extra form to fill out.

Price Trend (First-Mate and Captain) shows whether a price has been rising, dropping, staying stable, or swinging around — First-Mates see 14 days of history, Captains see 30 days. Handy for deciding whether to book now or wait it out.

Best Value badges (Captain only) highlight sailings with the lowest price-per-night in their cabin class, within your current search results.

We check prices every six hours. If your cruise fare changes often, blame Royal Caribbean, not us. We only email you when something really moves — no spam, no "just checking in" emails. Pinky promise.

Great question, detective. 🕵️ We track four master cabin categories:
  • I — Interior
  • O — Ocean View
  • B — Balcony
  • D — Suite (yes, “D” for Deluxe — Royal Caribbean's naming, not ours 🤷)
If you see something like I‑Family (2+1) or B‑Family (2+2), that's the per-person price for a family configuration (2 adults + 1 or 2 kids).

We keep it simple because 99% of price changes apply across all the fancy sub-variations anyway. One code to rule them all. 💍🚢

The Deckhand plan is designed for occasional cruisers — you can track up to 3 cabins at once.

Need more? First-Mates and Captains enjoy higher limits (or none at all). You can upgrade anytime — no lifeboat required.

Yep! If you're a First-Mate or a Captain, you can set a minimum price drop (like $50) or a percent change (like 5%) that has to happen before we alert you.

Deckhands get alerts for all meaningful changes — no filters, just facts. 📉📬

Cruise prices change fast — like a squirrel on espresso. Our alerts are solid, but if the fare shifted while you blinked... don't sue us.

Every six hours, on the dot. Just enough to be useful — not annoying.
Depending on your tier, we group and delay notifications to keep your inbox sane:
  • Deckhands: every 48 hours
  • First-Mates: every 24 hours
  • Captains: every 6 hours (no delay)

Good catch! All prices shown are per person in USD. We track three guest configurations:
  • 2 Adults — the standard baseline (codes like I, O, B, D)
  • 2 Adults + 1 Child — shown as I‑Family (2+1), etc.
  • 2 Adults + 2 Children — shown as I‑Family (2+2), etc.
We keep it simple so you can spot trends (up or down) at a glance. Before you price-match, always confirm the total on the Royal Caribbean site with your actual party size. Cruise math is hard enough without us adding to the confusion. 🧮

Because that's when the magic began. April 18 was day one of price collection. No time machines here—just future savings.
This date is for 2 adults in the cabin. But on May 11, we started collecting prices for 3 and 4 guests, too.

Please do. Especially if they're still tracking fares by hand like it's 2003. Maybe they'll buy you a drink with the money they save. 🍹

Nope. Just a human with a mildly obsessive love for cruise deals and way too many tabs open.

All prices are in glorious US Dollars (USD) 🇺🇸💵. We fetch them straight from the US version of royalcaribbean.com.

If you're booking from Canada, the UK, Australia, or anywhere else — the price you see on your local Royal Caribbean site may differ due to currency conversion and regional pricing. Think of our numbers as the universal benchmark. Convert at your own risk (and exchange rate). 💱

You bet! 🍹📡 When you add a watcher, you can choose to track Cabin prices or Package prices (like beverage packages, Wi-Fi, shore excursions, and dining).

Package watchers work the same way — we'll email you when prices drop, rise, or do that weird shuffle thing they do. Perfect for snagging that Deluxe Beverage Package before it mysteriously jumps $20 the week before your cruise. 🎰

Pro tip: pair a cabin watcher with a package watcher on the same sailing and you'll have the full pricing picture. Captain-level awareness, even on a Deckhand budget. 🧠⚓
